Meta Battler Series 1: Collecting
If there’s one thing Ultra Rare do well — it’s rewarding collectors. We’ve played the game (and if you haven’t, you really should by clicking here), now it’s time to finish some sets!

So, collecting. Let’s start with the basics: collector’s rewards. There are two main ways to collect Meta Battler cards. Horizontally or vertically. But what do we mean by that?
Well, horizontally means completing a variant or rarity set. A set is the full 35 A or B cards of a given rarity. For example, base cards 1A to 35A are a complete set. Ultra Rare cards 1B to 35B are a complete set.
For every 35 card set complete, you will receive these awesome 5 new cards in the corresponding rarity.
Rainbow rewards will once again be a thing, but this time, they’re all called the Ultimates! If you collect any character in every rarity — Base, Uncommon, Rare, Scarce, Epic, Legendary, Avatar and Ultra Rare, you’ll get that character’s Ultimate card. As there are only 10 Ultra Rares, there will only ever be 10 Rainbow Ultimates.
We’ll also be running some awesome mythic rewards. Now, every single 1/1 will open up rewards if collected correctly. Rewards will be given if you grab the same character in various 1/1s. Mythics are tough, but if you have 3 mythics of a specific character, you’ll be awarded the same character in its Ultimate Avatar form.
And for anyone who completes a Master Set — that’s the entire series, base through Ultra Rare — we’ve got something very cool in store for you! You will forever be immortalised as a personalised character and take your place in our Hall of Heroes, where you’ll be a playable boss.
