Ultra Rare x Texas Chainsaw Massacre
We’re absolutely delighted to announce that Ultra Rare have partnered with Exurbia Films to bring The Texas Chainsaw Massacre to the blockchain!
On a personal note, this is pretty much a dream come true. I’m a huge horror head and Chainsaw is one of my favourite films — a movie franchise that has had a massive influence over me as a writer and creator.
Last year was tough for us all. The pandemic meant film and TV production shut down and as a screenwriter here in the UK, I essentially lost my job.
Fortunately — with the help of my good mate Richie — I found NFTs. And I had the time to put into Ultra Rare.
When we started out, we had no idea where this adventure would take us. Back last year, we genuinely didn’t know whether we would even sell a single pack of our first series, The Horrors.
And I can say with absolute honesty, if someone had told me back in January we’d be bringing Leatherface and the Slaughter Family to the blockchain, I would’ve laughed in their face and told them they were insane.
But here we are — several successful sales and one fantastic community later — and I couldn’t be happier. We have some incredibly awesome stuff lined up for Leatherface and the gang, which we’re super excited to share with you.
